WHAT WE DO
Life's Adventures Youth Foundation, located in the heart of DFW, is a 501-c3 non-profit charitable foundation dedicated to helping today's youth for a better tomorrow. With the dedication of our volunteers, staff members, and partners, we strive to improve the lives of those in need within the community. Our organization provides inner-city children with creative outlets and alternatives to life's negative choices that seem to be forced onto them from the under-served areas. We promote experience and education through outdoor activities, such as camping,hiking, fishing, agriculture, and adventure; teaching the children self-sustainability and allowing them to experience life beyond the inner city. One of the main reasons Life's Adventures Youth Foundation was founded in 2014 was to compensate for the DFW area’s struggles with Volunteer Opportunities. 1st ANNUAL RIB ROAST
TWO DAY CAMP-OUT FUNDRAISER EVENT
Our annual Rib Roast is a smoked ribs and brisket competition with other fun activities such as live music, a silent auction, raffles, and many games for the children. 2016 Rib Roast goal was to achieve the funding we needed for our website startup as well as the fees for our 5013c certification. With the immense support and love from our sponsors, volunteers, and community we successfully reached our goals. 2nd ANNUAL 2017 RIB ROAST
TWO DAY CAMP-OUT FUNDRAISER EVENT
Life’s Adventures Youth Foundation is a 501 c3 non-profit youth organization and we are scheduled to have our second annual rib roast to raise funds for our foundation on Nov. 3rd & 4th this year.
Here at L.A.Y.F. we promote community involvement, experiences and education for children on agriculture, camping, hiking, fishing, and self-sustainability. Along with trips to sporting events and museums so that they are given the opportunity to experience life away from the inner-city neighborhoods. Our plan for this year’s event is to use the funds to obtain a passenger vehicle to alleviate the complications of multiple passenger travel.
